Accommodation Details

April Cottage is a very welcoming, comfortable, centrally heated cottage comprising spacious living room, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite), well-stocked kitchen with kitchen table and chairs (and delightful views), utility/mud room, ample parking, mature garden and did we mention wonderful views. A payphone is available for use, linen and towels* are supplied.

The comfortable living room is equipped with electric fire, two sofas, armchair, large coffee table, reading/games table, reading light, Freesat television, VCR and DVD, bookcase containing books, games and a host of tourist information.

The dining room has beautiful views over the loch to the majestic hills beyond, seats six, and is the perfect place for a hearty Scottish dinner of salmon or trout caught in Loch Awe.

The kitchen at April Cottage has wonderful views from its large windows. Oak kitchen cupboards, kitchen table and chairs add to the warmth and ambience of the room. Fully equipped, kitchen facilities include microwave, stove with double oven, toaster, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a large drying cupboard, drying racks and a radio/CD player.

Hallway

Bedrooms:

The double ensuite bedroom has beautiful loch views. The newly renovated bathroom has shower facilities and includes heated towel rail.

The remaining two bedrooms have two single beds each, immediate views of the garden, with hills and forest beyond. The newly renovated main bathroom includes full-size bath and shower, and heated towel rail.

Bed linen, pillows and duvets are provided, (see inventory) two hairdryers and two hot water bottles are also supplied. Each bedroom has a radio/clock alarm. Extra pillows are available. Fitted cupboards and a chest of drawers are in each of the bedrooms.

Gas and electricity are included in the rental price.

PETS: Well-trained dogs by prior approval.

SMOKING: No smoking in the house, please

Dine al fresco on the patio.....garden furniture, sun umbrella and a BBQ are supplied.

*Dog towels are not supplied and should be brought with you
